Allh
The Alla (Hindi: अल्ल) or śāsana system has been used extensively by the Pancha-Gauda Brahmin communities in north India. It refers to a further classification within the gotra and gives information about the lineage or place of origin of a Brahmin family. Allas are also called śāsanas in Sanskrit.
