The School
Aliquippa Jr/Sr High School is home to about 350 students in grades 7-12. The school has a state of the are theater which is called the "Black Box" theater. The school also has the largest Gymnasium in Beaver County and has a large library equipped with computers and smart technology boards, a large cafeteria, classrooms equipped with smart technology boards, and state of the art restrooms. The athletics at the school are some of the best in the state, Aliquippa High is known for its football team the Aliquippa Fighting Quips which is a part of the WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League) and has the following. .700 Victories .WPIAL Championships-1952 1955 1964 1984 1985 1987 1988 1989 1991 1996 2000 2003 2008 2011 2012 .PIAA State Championships- 1991 and 2003 The school is proud of its football team as well of its Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, and Volleyball teams.
