Technical Design
The technical designs of such systems are not standardized. Conceptually, the design can be divided into logical units:
- The data stream unit (the part of the systems that receives data (e.g. quotes, news) from external sources)
- The decision or strategy unit
- The execution unit
With the wide use of social networks, some systems implement scanning or screening technologies to read posts of users extracting human sentiment and influence the trading strategies.

Famous quotes containing the words technical and/or design:
“In middle life, the human back is spoiling for a technical knockout and will use the flimsiest excuse, even a sneeze, to fall apart.”
—E.B. (Elwyn Brooks)
“The reason American cars dont sell anymore is that they have forgotten how to design the American Dream. What does it matter if you buy a car today or six months from now, because cars are not beautiful. Thats why the American auto industry is in trouble: no design, no desire.”
—Karl Lagerfeld (b. 1938)
