Film: Convincing Clooney
At 30, Alexander Cartio took the step towards Hollywood films by fulfilling a longtime dream of producing and directing a long feature film. His first movie, a comedy called Convincing Clooney is in partnership with his long-time collaborator, actor and screenwriter Sulo Williams. His first independent comedy feature film, it is written by Williams and produced and directed by Cartio. It was filmed in the studios of AtlantisPic Pictures / Synkronized. It was released on November 8, 2011 on DVD. The film tells the story of a young Los Angeles artist who, faced with rejection at every turn both as an actor and as the writer of his first screenplay, decides that he will get actor George Clooney to play in his low-budget short film. The film stars Sulo Williams, Aimee Garcia, Kelly Perine, Hadley Fraser, Wilson Cruz and Rosanna Arquette.
