Services
During off-peak periods on weekdays (and Saturday) before 7pm there are:
- Two trains per hour to Crewe (xx:24 and xx:34)
- Two to Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport (xx:13 and xx:49)
- One to Manchester Piccadilly via Manchester Airport (xx:53)
Some services are extended to Manchester Oxford Road or on home matchdays to Manchester United Football Ground.
On Sundays there is:
- A two hourly service to Crewe (xx:31-37 odd hours)
- An hourly service to Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport (xx:19)
- A two hourly service to Manchester Piccadilly via Manchester Airport. (xx:50 even Hours)
A majority of services are worked by class 323 trains.
