Alan Brogan

Alan Brogan (Irish: Ailéin Ó Brógáin) is an Irish Gaelic footballer from Dublin who plays for St. Oliver Plunkett's. He is the brother of famous Dublin footballer Bernard Brogan. He can play in the full forward line but usually plays centre half forward for Dublin. In September 2004 Brogan was appointed as St Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh’s Games Promotion Officer.

Brogan has represented his county, province and country. He won a Leinster Senior Championship medal in 2002, won an All-Ireland under-21 medal with Dublin in 2003 and scored 9 points for Ireland in their International Rules Football victory over Australia in 2004.

In 2008 Brogan was Dublin captain for the Championship, replacing Colin Moran.
