Post-career
Lemieux is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Ice Arena LP group. In August 2012, the group purchased Valley Sports Complex, an ice rink located in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Lemieux was then named as the director of facility's hockey operations, which now includes the Alain Lemieux Hockey Academy, with the goal of training youths in hockey.
