Alabama State Route 151 - Route Description

Route Description

Prior to its designation as State Route 151 in 1999, the route was signed "TO SR-75" at its junction with State Route 79, and "TO SR-79" at its junction with State Route 75. The route is aligned along a four-lane undivided highway along its path. Although it is signed as a south–north route, the orientation of the route is actually west–east.

South (west) of its junction with State Route 79, State Route 151 continues as Jefferson County Road 131.

Famous quotes containing the words route and/or description:

The route through childhood is shaped by many forces, and it differs for each of us. Our biological inheritance, the temperament with which we are born, the care we receive, our family relationships, the place where we grow up, the schools we attend, the culture in which we participate, and the historical period in which we live—all these affect the paths we take through childhood and condition the remainder of our lives.
    Robert H. Wozniak (20th century)

The type of fig leaf which each culture employs to cover its social taboos offers a twofold description of its morality. It reveals that certain unacknowledged behavior exists and it suggests the form that such behavior takes.
    Freda Adler (b. 1934)
