He is married to the Pakistani origin British Doctor Faha Makhdum. They were married on December 17, 2011 in Lahore. It was rumored that they divorced on July 15, 2012. However, Aisam's parents denied the rumors. Faha's parents also denied any knowledge of the proceedings. Faha Makhdum has launched legal action against social networking site Facebook for failing to close the fake "official" account that spread rumors about her divorce.
