Air Raid's 2007 biography paints him as a criminal hunter who tracks Decepticons. The same name was then given to another Autobot jet in the 2009 movie toy line. It is unknown if this is supposed to be the same character. This new version of Air Raid turns into a more Earth-style jet and combined with his fellow Aerialbots to form Superion.
