Air Mauritius Destinations
As of July 2011, the Air Mauritius route network consists of 26 destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Shanghai became the 26th destination served by the company in early July 2011 (2011-07). In February 2012 (2012-02), the airline announced the suspension of some non-profitable routes, starting with Milan, Melbourne, and Sydney, effective May 2012 (2012-05). Services to these destinations were scheduled to end late that month; as of October 2012, services to these cities are flown by Air France and Virgin Australia, connecting with Air Mauritius flights at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Perth Airport, respectively.
