Air Force Center For Engineering and The Environment - Organization

Organization

A civilian director, a member of the Senior Executive Service, heads the center. An executive director, an Air Force colonel who also serves as the commander of the center's military personnel, assists the director. They lead an organization composed of five business line directorates, a technical directorate, three regional environmental offices and four support directorates. The business line directorates are designed to provide direct services to specific customers and to act as their single point of contact for most AFCEE work.

Famous quotes containing the word organization:

Unless a group of workers know their work is under surveillance, that they are being rated as fairly as human beings, with the fallibility that goes with human judgment, can rate them, and that at least an attempt is made to measure their worth to an organization in relative terms, they are likely to sink back on length of service as the sole reason for retention and promotion.
    Mary Barnett Gilson (1877–?)

To fight oppression, and to work as best we can for a sane organization of society, we do not have to abandon the state of mind of freedom. If we do that we are letting the same thuggery in by the back door that we are fighting off in front of the house.
    John Dos Passos (1896–1970)

Your organization is not a praying institution. It’s a fighting institution. It’s an educational institution right along industrial lines. Pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living!
    Mother Jones (1830–1930)
