ACHM History
ACHM was founded in 1992 by Allan Savory and his wife, Jody Butterfield, to spread Holistic Management, originally developed by Zimbabwean-born Savory, throughout English-speaking Africa. ACHM is closely affiliated with the Savory Institute, which Savory and Butterfield also co-founded with others in the USA in 2009 to spread the work globally.
