Adventure Parks Group

Adventure Parks Group is a company that used to run and operate two theme parks in the U.S. states of Florida and Georgia. They are Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia and Cypress Gardens Adventure Park in Winter Haven, Florida. It also owned a radio station in South Georgia called Wild Adventures Radio 92.1FM. Due to Bankruptcy problems both parks have been sold off. Wild Adventures was sold to the Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation and Cypress Gardens was sold to Land South Holdings.

Famous quotes containing the words adventure, parks and/or group:

Railway termini ... are our gates to the glorious and the unknown. Through them we pass out into adventure and sunshine, to them, alas! we return.
    —E.M. (Edward Morgan)

Towns are full of people, houses full of tenants, hotels full of guests, trains full of travelers, cafés full of customers, parks full of promenaders, consulting-rooms of famous doctors full of patients, theatres full of spectators, and beaches full of bathers. What previously was, in general, no problem, now begins to be an everyday one, namely, to find room.
    José Ortega Y Gasset (1883–1955)

Stripped of ethical rationalizations and philosophical pretensions, a crime is anything that a group in power chooses to prohibit.
    Freda Adler (b. 1934)
