It consists in dry-sowing crops directly into existing pastures without using tillage, fertilizer or chemicals.

Famous quotes containing the words advance and/or sowing:

    Some ne’er advance a judgment of their own,
    But catch the spreading notion of the town;
    Alexander Pope (1688–1744)

    For this is action, this is not being sure, this careless
    Preparing, sowing the seeds crooked in the furrow,
    Making ready to forget, and always coming back
    To the mooring of starting out, that day so long ago.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
