In Pakistan, the Adjutant-General Branch (AG) is a lieutenant general of Pakistan Army' and is given the responsibility of the army's infrastructure and administration and is the second most responsible post after (Chief of General Staff) branch of the Pakistan Army.Pakistans AG branch operation can be compared with British AG branch.
The Adjutant-General Branch is tasked with personnel management, financial management, general administration, military education, legal services, and provost (military policing and prison) services, disciplinary conduct, military Lands, medical corp and welfare of the army.
