Sponsorship
The Adelaide 36ers were previously sponsored by Pura Milk and with the naming rights of Pura Milk 36ers. Before this they were the West End 36ers (as in West End Brewery) during their first title year (1986) while also taking various names from West End products including being known for a time during the 1990s as the Eagle Super 6ers. In 2009 the team was sponsored by Hood Sweeney, an Adelaide based consulting firm and were known as the Hood Sweeney Adelaide 36'ers. Other major sponsors include KIA Motors and Sprint Auto Parts. As of 2011-12, the teams main shirt sponsor is Unleash Solar, a South Australian solar energy company.
