Adan Mohamed Nuur Madobe

Adan Mohamed Nuur Madobe (Somali: Aaden Maxamed Nuur Madoobe], Arabic: عدن محمد نور مادوبي‎) is a Somali politician and a former Speaker of Parliament of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) of Somalia. Following the resignation of Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed as President of Somalia in December 2008, he became interim president. Like many Somali politicians, he is a former warlord. He was also a Quranic instructor.

Madobe was born in Mandera in the Northern Frontier District (NFD). He is of the Digil-Mirifle clan, specifically the Hadame subclan.
