Famous quotes containing the words potential, side and/or effects:

    A child is born with the potential ability to learn Chinese or Swahili, play a kazoo, climb a tree, make a strudel or a birdhouse, take pleasure in finding the coordinates of a star. Emilie Buchwald (20th century)

    To be on every side, to be everything, to be nothing long;

    To use great feelings and passions of the human family
    For base designs, for cunning ends;
