ACM ICPC Dhaka site 2011 contest was held at the new campus of North South University at Bashundhara on 18–19 November 2011. Bangladesh University of Engineering and technology(BUET) won the contest and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology(SUST) became the runner up. Both champion and runner up team solved same number of problem and qualified for the world finals which took place in Poland in May 2012. This is the first time Shahjalal University of Science & Technology is going to participate in finals.
