Non-Muslims Remarks and Interfaith

In some of his sermons, al-Sudais has vilified non-Muslims and has called for the annihilation of Jews. However the Muslim Council of Britain, responding to some of these accusations, has declared them as being a "witch-hunt" and "deliberately garbled".

Al-Sudais has called for efforts to combat terrorism, discussed ways to combat terrorism, and has preached Islam's opposition to "explosions and terrorism". He actively speaks out against what he believes to be the persecution of Palestinians by Israeli settlers and the state of Israel, and has pleaded for medical supplies and food to be sent to the Palestinians.

Famous quotes containing the word remarks:

Where do whites fit in the New Africa? Nowhere, I’m inclined to say ... and I do believe that it is true that even the gentlest and most westernised Africans would like the emotional idea of the continent entirely without the complication of the presence of the white man for a generation or two. But nowhere, as an answer for us whites, is in the same category as remarks like What’s the use of living? in the face of the threat of atomic radiation. We are living; we are in Africa.
    Nadine Gordimer (b. 1923)
