Death
Prince Abdul Majeed suffered from leukaemia and had undergone a surgery earlier in the US and then, had traveled back to Saudi Arabia. However, he was flown back to the US when his condition worsened. He died in Seattle on 5 May 2007 at age 65. His body was taken from the US to Riyadh on 6 May 2007. Funeral prayers for him were performed at Imam Turki ibn Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh after Dhuhr prayers on 7 May 2007.
