Aaron Boone

Aaron John Boone (born March 9, 1973 in La Mesa, California) is a former Major League Baseball infielder whose famous home run off Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield won the 2003 American League Championship Series for the New York Yankees. He played for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Florida Marlins, Washington Nationals, and Houston Astros. Boone is currently employed by ESPN as a game analyst and contributor for Baseball Tonight. He is a member of the prominent Boone baseball family.
