The episode was written by Silvio Horta & Marco Pennette and directed by James Hayman. The episode is title is a play on the Billy Idol song "White Wedding" (which features the line "It's a nice day for a white wedding") and Victoria Beckham's nickname in the Spice Girls, "Posh."
