Hugo Awards

The Hugo Awards, named after Hugo Gernsback, are given every year for the best science fiction or fantasy works and achievements of the previous year. Results are based on the ballots submitted by members of the World Science Fiction Society.

  • Best Dramatic Presentation: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
  • Best Professional Editor: Gardner Dozois
  • Best Pro Artist: Bob Eggleton
  • Best Semiprozine: Locus, edited by Charles N. Brown
  • Best Fanzine: File 770, edited by Mike Glyer
  • Best Fan Writer: Dave Langford
