The 2013 Lusophony Games will be the 3rd edition of the Lusophony Games (Portuguese: 3.os Jogos da Lusofonia), a multi-sport event for delegations representing every Portuguese-speaking National Olympic Committees. It will be hosted in Goa, India. Brazil and Sri Lanka also put in bids to stage the event. The Chairman for these games is Manohar Parrikar, the chief minister of Goa and the secretary general is Elvis Gomes, the Executive Director of the Sports Authority of Goa.
