Coaching Staff
Head coach Gary Kubiak will be entering his third year (2006 to present) with the Texans. Alex Gibbs, who implemented his successful zone blocking scheme with the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Falcons joins the staff as the assistant head coach, replacing Mike Sherman, who left to become the head coach at Texas A&M.
Kyle Shanahan, son of Broncos coach Mike Shanahan, takes over as the offensive coordinator this year in place of Sherman.
