    Their ships, and rent their sails adown;
    Till Agamemnon’s daughter’s blood
    Appeased the gods that them withstood.

    Se bella piu satore, je notre so catore,
    Je notre qui cavore, je la qu’, la qui, la quai!
    Le spinash or le busho, cigaretto toto bello,
    Ce rakish spagoletto, si la tu, la tu, la tua!
    Senora pelefima, voulez-vous le taximeter,
    La zionta sur le tita, tu le tu le tu le wa!

    Donald Hall (b. 1928)

    A Stander-by is often a better judge of the game than those that play.
    Samuel Richardson (1689–1761)
