The two finalists of this competition advance to the German Cup. Famous quotes containing the words rules and/or history:

    For rhetoric, he could not ope
    His mouth, but out there flew a trope;
    And when he happen’d to break off
    I’ th’ middle of his speech, or cough,
    H’ had hard words ready to show why,
    And tell what rules he did it by;
    Samuel Butler (1612–1680)

    The history of the world is none other than the progress of the consciousness of freedom.
    Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831)
