GT Standings
Points towards the 2001 FIA GT Championship for Drivers were awarded to the top six GT class finishers at each round in the order of 10–6–4–3–2–1 except at the Spa 24 Hours race, where double points were awarded.
The title was awarded jointly to Christoiphe Bouchut and Jean-Philippe Belloc who shared the wheel of the No 7 Chrysler Viper GTS-R entered by the Larbre Competition – Chereau team.
