1995 UK Championship (snooker)
The 1995 Royal Liver Assurance UK Championship took place at the Guildhall, Preston starting on 17 November and TV stages shown on BBC TV took place between 25 November and 3 December 1995.
Stephen Hendry made the first maximum break on TV in the UK Championship against Gary Wilkinson. Willie Thorne had made one in 1987, but this had not been televised. Hendry also cleared a 146 in the last frame to win the title, with a 10–3 win over Peter Ebdon.
