The Final Four consisted of Virginia, Stanford, Southwest Missouri State (now known as Missouri State), and Western Kentucky, with Stanford defeating Western Kentucky 78-62 to win its second NCAA title. Stanford's Molly Goodenbour was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
